1956 Mercury M100 Truck
Car History
The Mercury M-Series is a series of pickup trucks that was marketed
by the Mercury division of Ford Motor Company. Produced from 1947
to 1968, the Mercury M series was sold primarily in Canada, as a
rebadged version of the Ford F-Series.
This modified 1956 Mercury M100 we have here at Adventure Classics
is a restored truck that still has original good looks with a cool
stance, but with an upgraded lowered suspension as well as a FE 429
big block Ford engine and custom interior, to make it a

Engine & Drivetrain
When you pop the hood you know you are seeing a labor of love. It
does not have the original Ford powerplant but has a big block Ford
engine adorned with Ford Motorsports aluminum logo valve covers,
aluminum intake, electronic fuel injection, aluminum open element
air cleaner, headers, performance spark plug wires and holders,
with it all sitting in a body colored painted and detailed engine
compartment.
This is a strong-running engine backed up by a 3-speed C6 automatic
transmission, an upgraded lowered suspension and chassis, add in
fat black sidewall performance tires on custom aftermarket wheels
and you have a powerful package that gives you a mix of vintage and
performance for that great lowered stance.
Interior
Ours has a complete custom interior package including a grey split
50/50 leather bench seat, automatic shifter on the column, matching
grey door panels, grey carpet and floor mats, as well as a smoothed
and body color painted dash that has been redone to compliment the
original style with gauges, tilt steering wheel assembly, and power
windows and door controls.
So it is quite a comfy total setup and you will ride in a more
modern style with the comfort of a late model ride.
Exterior
Our 1956 Mercury M100 truck has a true vintage style that is always
fashionable. The Verona Green paint looks great as it flows over
the hood, rounded cab, and step side bed that is all part of this
timeless classic appearance.
There are chrome front and rear bumpers, running boards and steps,
a full wood bed, with the deep and huge rear meats with that look
and raked stance giving it just the right street looks and
appeal.
