This frame-off build started with an original 1985 Chevrolet Blazer
that was fully stripped down and completely rebuilt and customized
in 2023. This Blazer has been test driven 700 miles since the build
with any issues addressed. This beautiful custom truck is ready to
go!
Mechanical
The power is supplied by a crate 5.7-liter engine paired with a
newly rebuilt 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission. The engine has
been outfitted with a Holley Sniper fuel-injection system and HEI
ignition. It is complemented by a polished intake manifold, air
conditioning compressor, alternator and an aluminum radiator. We
installed a set of custom headers that runs into a Flowmaster
exhaust system.
Chassis
With the body removed from the frame, the chassis was completely
refurbished. The chassis was fully painted gloss black and received
a 4-inch Rough Country lift. Brakes were rebuilt during the
restoration. To complement the ride and to give an impressive
stance, a set of 20-inch bronze Method wheels were used with
35-inch Toyo Open Country.
Body
The body was gone through and received a Kona Blue paint job with
color-matched undercoating to protect from off road abuse and
rocks. A wing window delete was added to be able to use a one-piece
front window. The rear tailgate has a new rear window. A set of
custom front and rear bumpers were built to complete the body. The
custom bumpers, topper, and other exterior pieces were painted in
Kona Blue with a matte clearcoat finish. The front grill and
emblems are color matched to the Method rims. All LED and HID
lights were used. Blinker lights are embedded into the side view
mirrors. The Blazer also has AMP Research power steps.
Interior
The interior is elegantly dressed in saddle leather front bucket
seats and rear bench. Along with the seats, the custom door panels,
rear panels, interior tailgate, center console and dash pad are all
finished in saddle leather. Included inside you will find a tilting
steering column, cruise control, air conditioning and a custom
stereo.
