This tough looking 1989 Ford Mustang LX Convertible is something
special. Finished in Jet Black with a contrasting red interior,
this Mustang is in exceptionally clean condition and full of luxury
and performance features. The cowl induction-style Cervini
lightweight fiberglass hood and exterior-mounted triple Autometer
gauge cluster gives a hint of what is under the hood. Additionally,
a rear spoiler enhances the look of the rear of the car. A set of
black 18-inch five-spoke Niche wheels are wrapped with Nitto
performance tires staggered 235/40ZR-18 front and 275/35ZR-18 rear
for just the right stance.
The red, well-kept interior is equipped with power windows, power
locks, power mirrors, cold air conditioning, Sony AM/FM/CD radio
and an oversized SunPro tachometer. The black power convertible top
with tinted glass rear window is in great condition as well.

Power comes from a 5.0 electronic fuel injected V8 mated to a
5-speed manual Tremec TKO transmission. The engine is supercharged
with a Pro Charger and features a DBX 8.5mm cold air intake, MSD
distributor, MSD Super Conductor spark plug wires, power steering
and headers leading into dual exhaust with Dynomax Super Flow
mufflers. This engine produced over 350 horsepower on a Blueprint
Engine Dyno sheet before the supercharger was added, according to
the paperwork that is provided with the car. To handle the extra
power, Maximum Motorsports frame strengthening components were
installed. Stopping power is provided by 4-wheel disc brakes with
slotted rotors and red Mustang logo calipers.
