Vehicle Description
There is no car quite like a Viper This 1998 Dodge Viper GTS is
believed to have only 264 miles from new and is an exceptional
example. The Viper marked a great leap forward in the evolution of
America's unbridled super car. The GTS model was introduced in 1996
and featured all new closed coupe bodywork. The double bubble roof
and fastback design is reminiscent of the sports cars of the past
and all together completed an attractive, yet aggressive package.
This allowed for even more impressive performance figures in both
handling, acceleration and top speed thanks to an improved
aerodynamic efficiency.
Perhaps the most important developments provided by the fixed roof
was a dramatic increase in usability and creature comforts. The
addition of power windows, door locks, and air conditioning all
contributed to fleshing out the Viper as more of an actual car
rather than a weekend toy. The introduction of airbags provided
more peace of mind to occupants as well. Overall, the
second-generation Viper retains many of the best qualities from the
first but improved on nearly every other metric.

Original Certificate of Origin
The Viper GTS presented here was originally delivered to Williston
Chrysler Center in Williston, North Dakota November 14, 1998,
according to the original Certificate of Origin that comes with the
car. In remarkable original condition, it is believed to have been
driven a mere 264 miles since it was new. The original owner's
packet with all warranty and club information, as well as the
factory Viper operating tips package are also with the car. This
Viper is highly original and is still rolling on its original tires
mounted at the factory. A roll bar was added at some point, which
is a good idea for a car with such high-speed capabilities. It is
one of 854 Viper GTS coupes produced for the 1998 model year, and
one of only 288 finished in Viper Silver (code PA9), according to
viperstore.com.
With the apparent low mileage, the vehicle presents very well, only
showing minor signs of wear inside and out. A fine example as this,
with such low mileage, makes this Viper a true collector grade
find. This 1998 Dodge Viper GTS offers both handsome looks and one
the most exhilarating driving experiences one can find in a street
legal road car. This car is truly one of the great modern American
collectibles. Call today!
