The restoration is recorded in a photo report. The Chrysler New Yorker is powered by the 5.3 liter 8-cylinder engine that is linked to a semi-automatic gearbox, the so-called Fluid Drive. Fluid Drive was a very innovative technology at the time that provided a smooth transition between gears and made it possible to stop in traffic without having to depress the clutch.
