Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this 1948 Chevrolet
Fleetmaster. The '48 Fleetmaster was the last year for what was one
of Chevrolet's most successful models during the 1940s. This
particular Fleetmaster is a bit different than when it rolled off
the assembly line. The inline six cylinder engine and three speed
manual transmission have been replaced by a Vortec 350 and an
automatic trans with overdrive. Maneuvering a 40's era car with
manual steering wasn't always easy or fun, however, you'll find
power steering here which makes driving a breeze. In addition, the
current owner has installed new tires, a modern radio, and upgraded
gauges. If you're into the classic patina look but with more of a
modern driving experience then this Fleetmaster is waiting for you.
This 1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster is listed by our Tampa Showroom and
