The current owner of this example has made upgrades to make this more reliable and drivable. Starting with a 1996 Toyota 2RZ Fuel injected 2.4L Inline 4-cylinder engine mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission from a 1998 Tacoma and pushing the power to the ground through a 1998 Tacoma rear end with 3.58 gears. The car also has been upgraded with IFS Mustang II front suspension with power steering, power brakes, and air conditioning. The looks of a 1954 but modernized drivability makes this car stand out from others like it. The exterior of the car is painted in a beige paint with painted to match steel wheels, chrome babymoon hub caps, chrome grill, chrome bumpers, and even a European vanity plate. The interior flows well with the paint theme sporting beige cloth seats, beige door panels, two-toned brown/beige dash, AM/FM radio, and even air conditioning.
