Gateway Classic Cars of Denver is proud to offer this Beautiful
1966 AC Cobra ReplicaThe owner of this car poured his blood, sweat
and tears into this over the top build. The build of this Cobra
replica started with the body and frame from Midstates Cars (Who
merged with Shell Valley). It was painted red and packed with a top
end powertrain.Starting in the engine bay you'll find a Ford 428
F.E. Block built beyond "Super Cobra Jet" specs with just over 900
miles on the build. Not to mention Edelbrock aluminum heads with
stage II porting and prep by Keith Craft, Crane roller rockers,
Comp Cam, ARP rod bolts, Edelbrock medium rise intake and topped
off with a Holley dual feed 750 CFM Carburetor. This monster is
lubricated by a Melling high flow oil pump and remote dual oil
filters, all with less than 1000 miles on the build. The 428cid
F.E. powerplant is backed up by a Richmond Gear 5 speed manual
transmission. The power is then delivered out back to a Ford 9"
rear end with a 3.08 ring and pinion and complimented by a chromed
4 link rear suspension with panhard rod.How do you steer and stop
you ask? Under the front is an Art Morrison chrome tubular front
suspension, a Mustang II rack and spindles and 4-wheel disc brakes
bring it all to a smooth stop. All that Ford power is applied to the
pavement by BFGoodrich Radial T/As wrapped around Compmotive
Halibrand replica knockoff wheels. This is the AC Cobra replica
