1964 Chevrolet Biscayne 2 door sedan. This beautiful classic Chevrolet is a true California car that came to the east coast about six years ago. I have a large three ring binder full of old receipts and assorted paperwork showing it's history from California and then Nevada prior to it coming east. Originally a six cylinder car. I purchased the car three years ago and at that time it had a newer 250 six cylinder engine and a power glide transmission. After having the car a year or so I decided to replace the motor with a V8. In the fall of 2022 I found a 327 engine with double hump heads. I had the motor bored .030 over and purchased new pistons. The heads were rebuilt by a local machine shop. The engine was completely rebuilt and assembled by a reputable engine builder and installed in November 2022. A four speed transmission was also installed with a new clutch assembly. A new power steering gear box replaced the old power assist unit. The car rides on an air ride system and handles and rides very well. Upgrades include Wilwood front disc brakes, power brakes, Aluminum radiator, Coy wheels, gauges, HEI distributor, and a Four barrel carburetor. A modern stereo system was installed into the dash a few years ago. Heater and defroster works well. I'm selling this car to search for a 1962 Belair / Biscayne that I've wanted for many years. I've decided that now is the time to do that. Transportation assistance is possible at a reasonable rate.
