Vehicle Description
This 1955 Ford Fairlane Sunliner convertible was fully restored to
its original condition with no expense spared and is powered by its
original 272ci Y-block V8 engine mated to a 3-speed Ford-O-Matic
automatic transmission. This example features the "Bumble Bee"
two-tone Raven Black and Golden Rod exterior paint scheme. It has a
corresponding black and yellow pleated interior color scheme and
black cloth power convertible top, which is fully operational. Some
of the classic features of the Sunliner Edition include the
wrap-around front windshield, stainless side-body spears, Flying
Jet hood mascot, Jet-Tube taillights, Magic-Aire heat and
ventilation, Astro-Dial speedometer housing, front and rear bumper
guards, and dual spotlights. This classic cruiser is also appointed
with wide whitewall tires, full wheel covers, optional Continental
kit and fender skirts. The chassis and underside of the car is
fully detailed. It is fully equipped with optional power brakes and
power windows, as well as a dual exhaust, and has been upgraded to
a more reliable 12-volt electrical system.
