This 2005 Ford Thunderbird 50th Anniversary convertible is powered
by a Jaguar-designed 3.9-liter DOHC V8 engine making 280hp, mated
to a 5-speed automatic transmission. With the 11th-generation Ford
Thunderbird built from 2002 to 2005, Ford returned to its original
configuration as a two-passenger convertible with styling evocative
of the original 1955-57 models, including the predominant circular
porthole windows in its removable hardtop. The year 2005 marked the
Thunderbird's 50th Anniversary and while all 2005 T-Birds were
badged with the 50th Anniversary fender emblem, the feature car for
the 2005 model year was limited to 1,500 units and was painted in a
Cashmere Metallic Tri-Coat color with a color-matched grille. The
50th Anniversary Cashmere also featured Cashmere seats made of a
softer, more luxurious material, including leather inserts, than
the standard interior. This one-owner feature car has been driven
6,602 actual miles from new.
