Vehicle Description
This custom 1973 Ford Bronco is powered by a Whipple-supercharged
Boss 302 Coyote 5.0-liter V8 engine dyno-tested at 569hp. It's
paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission with an Atlas transfer
case with twin-stick 4-wheel-drive selection. It features a fully
customized chassis with completely adjustable suspension, Currie
rear end and Currie high-pinion Dana 44 front end, which were
custom-built. There are 4-link and heim joints from Johnny Joint,
and King adjustable coilovers with reservoirs. In addition, there
are custom headers with wrapped 2-into-1 exhaust completion, a
Power by the Hour harness, and a fully customized cooling system
and cold-air intake. It is also equipped with power steering and
stopping power is provided by 4-wheel Wilwood disc brakes with
hydro-boost precision. The hood was handmade to retain stock
appearance while providing added clearance for the Whipple
supercharger. The windshield was recessed for a smooth face and the
piano hinge was deleted. The bumpers were built from scratch. The
front bumper was designed to accommodate an 8,000-pound winch to be
attached to the frame while hiding the fairlead, if desired. A
Vison X Lighting package and underbody LEDs highlight below.
Countless hours went into prepping the steel body for the satin
matte variation of Brittany Blue finish. The custom interior
features hand-selected premium leather hides that feature
hand-stitched Ferrari pattern seats. Three-point retractable
seatbelts are integrated to the custom roll bar, which reclines
behind the head space for the front seat. The console is handmade
from aluminum with courtesy LED lighting and cupholders. There are
power windows with retro-looking handles and a tilt column with a
mahogany-rimmed steering wheel. It is equipped with a Vintage Air
system with illuminated control, while the air vents are integrated
into the dash to blow cold air in the right places. There are LED
backlit retro gauges with programable monitoring features, a
handmade electric wiper motor cover and custom German square-weave
carpet throughout with LED footwell lighting and AMP Research
retractable steps. 765 miles since build completion.
