Vehicle Description
Nicknamed "Esperanza," this 1964 Chevrolet C10 short-bed custom
pickup was restored by teenage enthusiasts with the guidance of the
owner, a second-generation body repair specialist with a
deep-rooted passion for trucks and a sincere commitment to giving
back to his local community by creating a haven for young
enthusiasts to delve into the art of truck repair. Powered by a
completely rebuilt 350ci V8 engine with a Holley carburetor paired
with a 3-on-the-tree manual transmission, this pickup is fully
rebuilt and received a frame-off restoration. Originally a
big-back-window truck, it has a CPP 4-wheel disc big-brake kit, new
master cylinder and brake booster, power steering, 5-lug axles and
all-new suspension with drop spindles. The exterior has new wood,
bed strips, and new wheels and tires. The restoration included a
new front seat and interior.
