of the great full size Ford convertibles. Featured in Sandshell
Beige complimented by a tan interior. The powertrain consists of a
390 FE engine with a Holly 4 bbl., backed by a Ford Cruise O Matic
automatic transmission. The interior is very clean and the car
starts and runs out very well. The overall presence of the Galaxie
500 is exactly what you what expect from a early 60's luxury
convertible. Long and sleek lines and curves that blend together
well. This is a great driver that is ready to move to a new home.

The Ford Galaxie was one of the most popular full size automobiles
of its time and came in a variety of trims, body styles and engine
options. There were sedans, coupes, hardtops, and a "sunliner"
convertible. The sunliner was based on the uplevel 500 trimline
that offered more luxury and stylish features versus the normal
models. In 1962, the Galaxie line was updated with different body
panels and a whole new look built around its round rear
"afterburner" taillights.
