Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/Austin is proud to offer this
classic 1970 Chevrolet Nova with a beautiful green paint job, with
the "Yenko SC" stripe painted flat black nicknamed "Poison Ivy".
This Nova is more like a newer ZL1 Camaro than an old Nova, mostly
because of the modern Driveline. Under the hood with ZL1 style
carbon vents there is a Supercharged 376CID 6.2-liter LSA
small-block Crate V8 engine that is factory rated at 556 horsepower
and 551 lb.-ft. of torque. The Nova was built with some help from
Ultimate Audio in Lexington, SC and helped with getting the LSA
engine running correctly, along with getting the interior and music
system dialed in as well. The car rides on black Billet Specialties
18" wheels with paint matched inner barrels, and Wilwood big
brakes. The interior has ZL1 Camaro power front seats, wrapped in
black leather and suede with green stitching, and has the console
from the ZL1 Camaro with the gauges for oil pressure, battery
voltage, oil temperature and boost working properly. It also has
custom door panels, and suede headliner with a custom headliner
piece that reads "Poison Ivy" with green backlighting. The black
three-spoke carbon fiber steering wheel sits on a tilt column and
fronts Dakota digital gauges consisting of fuel level, battery
voltage, coolant temperature, oil pressure, a digital speedometer,
and a digital tachometer. The odometer reads just over 12k miles
although true mileage is unknown. This is absolutely awesome 1970
Chevy Nova called "Poison Ivy" and it is what we call an ultimate
driving machine.
