Bought in 1967 by the current owners brother-in-law, the seller
first acquired this car in 1970. Following a year of ownership, the
car was traded in to Quality Ford in Blanding, UT for a new vehicle
in 1971. For the next 18 years, the car had a single owner who had
the car re-painted to brown at some point as well as doing some
modification to the original 260 V8 to acheive additional
horsepower.
In 1989, the car was re-acquired and has been re-owned over the
last 35 years! In the last 60 years, this car has seen only 4
owners!
In 1990, the interior and top was re-done to the original Palomino.
The seat, carpet door panels and convertible top still show well
today. In 2017, the car was re-painted back to the the original
Phoenician Yellow. This color combination provides for a striking
car that captures attention! The seller reports that all chrome is
in excellent condition.
In 2020, the front brakes were converted to disc, with the rear
being the stock drum brakes. The seller reports this car runs and
drives well. The modified 260 V-8 runs great and the suspension
provides for a comfortable, 1964 ride!
The seller does report that the original AM radio is present but is
currently disconnected. The original cigarette lighter is in
working order, the horn is activated by a button on the dash and
the heater works. However, the right side heater vent needs
replaced. The original console lid was replaced a wodden lid but
the rest of the dashboard is original. The seller does report that
the steering wheel rattles when driving.
