The 1950 Ford model lineup featured stylish and innovative designs
that captured the essence of post-war American automotive culture.
The cars were characterized by their sleek lines, chrome accents,
and distinctive grille designs. These Fords are revered for their
classic styling and timeless appeal. This stunning 1950 Ford Custom
street rod has received a top-shelf restoration that includes a
broad range of mechanical enhancements. Its custom Yellow finish is
accented by 18" Foose chrome alloys that mount Michelin Pilot Sport
performance radials. The smart Brown/Cream leather is as
well-designed as it is stunning. Features include A/C, comfortable
bucket seats, center console, Lokar billet shifter, tilt-Grant
wheel and power trunk release. The updated dash incorporates a
Haneline V-2 'vintage-look' gauge cluster and sounds are furnished
by an Sony AM/FM/CD sound system. The trunk has also been
beautifully finished out in leather upholstery.
A detailed engine compartment houses the built 350ci Chevy
small-block that sounds strong and very streetable. It is equipped
with a high-rise aluminum intake, 4-barrel carburetor and stainless
tube headers that exit to a free-flowing dual exhaust. The
hydraulic cam burbles with a mild lift/duration that mates well
with a 3-speed 350 TurboHydramatic and street differential gearing.
Cooling is handled by an HD radiator w/electric fan. The electrics
have been upgraded to a 12V alternator configuration and the
battery has been relocated to the trunk. The chassis mounts GM
Cavalier power steering and power 4-wheel disc brakes. This
handsome Ford Custom street rod truly needs to be seen and driven
to be appreciated. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
