Powering this classic Chevy is a fresh 454 V8 and automatic TH350
transmission.
The new drivetrain includes the following: Howard 540 cam hydraulic
lifters, Scorpion roller rockers, HV oil pump, double roller timing
chain, competition cam guide plates, big tube push rods,
competition cam dual plane intake, Proform 750 dp, new H.E.I, new
balancer, 350 turbo shift with B&M 2200 stall converter, 12
bolt rear end, with boxed control arms, stabilizer, coil shacks,
Holley Sniper EFI self-tuning 4 barrel fuel injection, fuel pump,
new gas tank, fuel pump sending unit, new radiator cooling fans,
and hydraulic motor mounts.
Other highlights include new wheels and tires, new Wilwood Disk
brakes, new brake lines, new suspension and shocks, new stainless

Super Sport, or SS, is the signature performance option package
offered by Chevrolet on a limited number of its vehicles. All SS
models come with distinctive "SS" markings on their exterior. The
SS package was first made available for the 1961 Impala. Some of
the other models bearing the SS badge include the Camaro, Chevelle,
El Camino, Impala, Monte Carlo, Nova and Chevrolet Pickup Truck.
Current SS models are produced by the GM Performance Division.
