in 1966. Designed as an off-road vehicle from the beginning, Ford
was one of the fist companies to use the term sports utility in its
advertising. Then, to better compete with the Chevy Blazer, Jeep
Cherokee, and Dodge Ramcharger, the Bronco entered the full-size
SUV segment by using a shortened chassis from their F-Series trucks
for the 1978-1996 model years. This clean Oxford White (YO) 1992
Ford Bronco is a fine example of these coveted classic SUV's.
Beneath the hood is a 351W V8 that's been fortified with an
Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake manifold, BBK twin 61mm
throttle bodies, Hedman Hedders, an aluminum water pump, MSD
ignition, and a Pro-M Racing CAI. Additional features include
push-button 4-wheel drive, power steering, power front disc brakes,
power windows (sides and tailgate), air conditioning, 4-speed
automatic transmission with O/D and Quick 1 trans controller,
cruise control, tilt steering column, 3.55 rear axle (19), correct
paint and leather trim (YO, 2H), full instrumentation, factory
AM/FM/Cassette stereo, and beefy Pirelli Scorpion ATR tires
(285/70R17) wrapped around Moto Metal 17 alloy wheels. A versatile
and comfortable SUV, this Bronco can cruise the highways for hours
