In honor of the 50th anniversary of the introduction of the pony
car that set the world on fire, Ford introduced the 50th
Anniversary Edition Mustang GT that was limited to just 1964
examples. These rare steeds were based on a GT coupe with the
Performance Package, Cashmere two tone interior, and available in
either Kona Blue, or as a homage to the original Mustang, Wimbledon
White. All 1,964 units were serialized with dash plaques, and
featured exclusive chrome trim, unique faux gas cap, and trick tri
pane rear quarter windows meant to emulate the louvers of the
original fast back coupes. Serial Number 1372 pictured herein is
one of these limited Mustangs, but this thoroughbred has broken
free of the corral and now runs wild with all American horsepower.
The all-aluminum 5.0L V-8 under the hood has been completely
re-engineered with fortified billet internals, a Stage 2 Whipple
supercharger, methanol injection, and is tuned for E85. This bionic
horse put down 936 RWHP on the dyno yet can still be easily daily
driven with ease. This is a one owner, low mileage stang' that has
been adult owned and stored in a climate-controlled facility. All
