this 1956 Plymouth Savoy. This 1956 Plymouth Savoy represents a
good to a very good example of a traditional Custom 2-Dr Club Sedan
conversion. While retaining the basic external looks and
characteristics of this 64-year-old classic, this '56 Savoy has
been custom fabricated with the addition of several pieces of
modern technology. Features such as a high performance 454 CID 522
hp V-8 motor, 3-speed Turbo 400 automatic transmission, power
brakes, Vintage Air, Fat Man Mustang II front suspension, Ford 9"
rear-end, boxed frame, 4" roof chop, Centerline alloy wheels, a
custom upholstered interior and a modern state of the art Memphis
stereo system make this a truly custom vehicle. The clean lines and
solid proportions of this Plymouth classic '56 Savoy serves as the
basis for this sharply finished custom resto-mod. Many custom
touches make this vehicle truly unique. It incorporates body
customizations from a '48 Pontiac, '56 Ford Econoline van, '54
Mercury, and a '50 Ford. This 64-year-old Plymouth Savoy has seen a
frame-off and body restoration. As noted on the extensive Vehicle
Option pages, and as depicted on the many enclosed digital
photographs, this '56 Savoy was purposely fabricated using many of
the finest modern components available, while at the same time
being custom built with the quality modern components. The caliber
of all work performed on this vehicle is of high quality.
