This 1990 Honda CRX DX was sold new at Hinshaw's Honda of Auburn, WA. It was purchased from a friend of the original owner in August 2023. The car is finished in black over black and gray vinyl and powered by a 1.5-liter inline-four mated to a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes 13″ steel wheels, a rear cargo cover, spare tire and tools, sport bucket seats, Alpine cassette stereo, and roll-up windows.
This good-condition CRX shows 294k miles and it starts right up, runs well, and stops great. It's an excellent example of a reliable, unmodified, 90's gas-saver with tons of originality. It comes with a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title and lived most of its life in The Bay Area, California. It gives buyers several options—enjoy as-is, restore to a perfect example of an original Honda, or modify it for better performance. Light restoration this past year that included an interior refresh with custom upholstered seat covers, reproduction CRX floor mats, and a good-sounding audio system.

The single-stage black paint is not great. It also looks like there is some rear damage that wasn't reported—you can see a bumper impact. And there are oil leaks from the valve cover and oil pan gasket.
