Turns over like a new car and runs as good as it looks!
I purchased this car when I was 15, nearly 25 years ago, and have lovingly taken care of it from day one. I completed a restomod with my Dad in the early 2000's and now the car needs a new set of hands to care for it. Below is a detailed list of restoration and modifications done in my care:
- New metal: Both doors, rear quarter panels, b-frame, fuel tank and trunk lid
- Painted early 2000s, clear coat
- Interior completely redone
- Electric ignition
- Edelbrock carburetor and intake
- Hedman headers
- Keger SS wheels
- Re-cored radiator
- Swapped original 3 speed manual for toploader 4 speed with hurst competition shifter
- New flywheel
- Starter, water pump, fuel pump, belts and filter all replaced
Here's a short list of repairs needed:
- Transmission - speedometer cable has stripped out and doesn't track miles, synchro between 3 and 4 is not great but functional.
- Tach wiring needs replacement
- Battery terminals need replaced
- The driver side door window track needs some work (the tracking is new, just needs to be adjusted)
- The driver side seat has a small rip (quarter sized)
It's a good car, and will continue to be road ready for many more years.
