Vehicle Description
1989 Plymouth Gran Fury ex Colorado municipal vehicle. I don't
think it was a patrol or pursuit unit because of the lack of
divider, the cloth buckets and lack of markings but it is a very
clean car inside and out and top and bottom. It went from Colorado
to Ohio in about 1998 and I think it was only driven for a couple
of years or about 15k miles in Ohio before it went into indoor
storage for unknown reasons. The original carburetor and ignition
system were removed and replaced with a points distributor and it
also doesn't have the original air cleaner. I did have it running
briefly off of a gas can after putting new points and condenser in
it. It started with the key and the gauge showed oil pressure but
the exhaust is kinda ratty and I'm sure it has some vacuum leaks by
the looks of some of the old hoses under the hood. I did put it
into gear and it lurched forward a bit but I did no more than that.
It's safe to assume that the brakes, fuel system and all the fluids
should be gone through at the very least and I'm sure the tires are
old. I make no guarantees about the condition of the engine,
transmission and the sure grip rear axle. Most everything came to
life as it should when I put a battery(not included) in it so with
any luck it might not take much to turn it into a driver. Except
for the items mentioned above this is a very solid and complete
car. Last of the Mopar rwd V8 carbureted cop cars with 3 fender
tags and a green title. Please Note The Following **Vehicle
