1985 Cadillac Fleetwood sedan for sale by life-long Cadillac. The
vehicle has had regular preventative (and corrective, as needed)
maintenance and is in generally good mechanical condition. The
interior is in particularly good shape, especially for its age,
with only minor wear on the driver's seat. The headliner was
re-done in 2018, and is in excellent condition. There are no cracks
in the dash, nor stains or burns in the carpet. The windows were
professionally tinted at 50% front / 35% side and rear, and look
very sharp. The car is well-equipped for its time, with electronic
climate control with functional R-134 converted air conditioning,
cruise control, twilight sentinel headlights, power trunk (with
pull-down, although it needs a new pull-down unit), split dual
front power seats with manual recliners, power windows and locks,
and a tilt and telescopic steering wheel. The interior has matching
"black cherry" leather interior as well, that's in VERY good shape.
Since purchasing, it has had the following, but not all inclusive,
notable repairs: entire exhaust system from back of the "Y" pipe
professionally replaced in stainless steel - which sounds AMAZING -
complete tune up, electric cooling fans and fan control system
replaced, rear air shocks replaced with stock OEM units, A/C
compressor replaced, all fluids exchanged with BG products,
undercarriage professionally undercoated, power window motors and
power lock solenoids replaced on all four doors, fuel tank and fuel
sending unit replaced, and maintenance records are available since
I purchased the vehicle. Front tires have less than 250 miles on
then. According to the previous owner, the engine "long block" was
replaced by Moore Cadillac at/about 90K miles, about 30 years ago.
The exterior is in very good shape, in terms of not being rusted,
nor dented, with only minor "parking lot" type dings. The glass is
in excellent condition all the way around, with no cracks or damage
to the windshield.
