Vehicle Description
While the newest Ford F-150 may have a twin-turbo hybrid
powertrain, as much fun as having the latest and greatest may be,
sometimes it's far more fun to have older and a bit more special.
This brings us to this 1952 Ford F-1 Restomod we have for you
today. With just 90 miles on the odometer since being rebuilt, this
truck has been resprayed in a gorgeous Blue Metallic with Gold
stripes. It rides on seventeen-inch Rallye-style wheels shod in
Nexen tires, which hide power disc brakes at all four corners.
Inside, we find a very nicely redone interior highlighted by two
supportive and plush tan bucket leather seats. Custom power door
lock switches, custom window switches, a Double DIN digital
infotainment has been fitted into the dash, GPS Autometer gauges,
and custom HVAC vents all make this truck truly one of a kind.
Under the hood, gone is the aged Flathead V-8 of yesteryear. In its
place, we find a GM Goodwrench crate 350 cubic-inch V-8 sporting a
dual-single barrel carburetor, polished Edelbrock intake, FITech Go
Street EFI system, as well as shorty style headers. That power is
routed through a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission before
being sent off to a nine-inch rear end.
