This is a California truck that has stayed mostly original. I bought it January 2022 from a farm in Woodland, CA. I had the gears changed and the rear end serviced. Fluids in engine and transmission has recently been changed. I drove this truck from Paso Robles, CA to Reno, NV and back for Hot August Nights in 2023.
The Cheyenne Super 30 was a factory model that was designed to haul a cab over camper while pulling a trailer, like a fishing boat. It came with dual batteries, cabover wired in hookups, tow mirrors, shock absorbers from bed to cab for stability, cabover mounting brackets through the bed, and a bumper that pulls out 2 feet to allow for low cab over and bumper towing.
This truck is not perfect by any means. I would say it is a solid California truck that would pop with a paint job and little things to clean it up. Fiberglass fenders are original and in really good condition. It has been repainted. The lower dash has original dark blue metallic paint but it was repainted at some time in a later model Chevy blue.
