Vehicle Description
Built from model years 2003 through 2009, GM produced and marketed
the H2, a full size SUV that was built on a modified ton truck
chassis and was built as smaller version of the H1. Throughout the
years, it remained largely unchanged except for some cosmetics. A
total of over 150,000 were produced in both SUV and SUT (truck)
form all using a standard engine of either the 6.0 Liter V8 up
until 2008, then swapping that out for the 6.2 Liter for the final
two years. This particular example was a lFlorida vehicle up until
2022 and then went to a Mecum auction where it was purchased by our
consignor. This unit has definitely been used and driven but from
what we can tell not abused. For nearly 200K miles, the body, paint
and interior are in decent condition with no rust or rot on the
body or underside. With so many miles, there are some quirks and
flaws like, dents, dings, headliner looks as though it got wet
maybe due to a leaky sunroof at some point. The sunroof does not
work, the drivers sided rear door handle needs fixed but does open
and close. All the windows go up and down and all lights and gauges
seem to be in working order as well. The radio works but the volume
is stuck....probably needs a new head unit. As far as mechanically
it starts perfectly, idles and goes down the road as it should
quite nicely. It will need tires soon and maybe there is a small
exhaust leak. In all seriousness, this would make someone a really
easy and somewhat inexpensive running/driving project. Please let
us know if you have any further questions.
