This one family-owned 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu 2-door hardtop is powered by a 283ci 2v V8 engine that sends power to the rear wheels via a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. The car is finished in a deep shade of green over a beige-colored upholstery. This Chevelle Malibu features power steering and has some improved modifications, including alloy American Racing wheels, an electronic distributor, new Flowmaster mufflers, and a dual reservoir master cylinder with a power brake vacuum booster now assists the 4-wheel drum brakes. The car shows 36,464 miles on the odometer, but the current owner, the son of the original owner, says the correct mileage is 136,464 miles. The car is located in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
This Chevelle has been inspected and photographed by a third party to document the condition of the vehicle. The cars exterior shows nicely, with only minor chips in the paint. The passenger door did receive some paint correction and is a slightly different shade of green. The body is straight, and all the chrome trim is present, although the inspection does note some aging on the chrome. The interior was replaced in 2019, and the upholstery shows well as a result. The headliner and dash are both in nice condition. The stereo, however, is not operable; the rear tail lights also show small cracks, and it appears the windshield wiper motor is not currently hooked up. The car runs and drives well according to the inspection and an original owners manual is included with the car as well as the original steering wheel and distributor and other literature.
This Chevelle is being sold through a CLASSIC.COM Pro and is located in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
