1957 Chevrolet Belair 2 Door Hardtop is as about as beautiful and
iconic as they come. It has only 51,956 original miles on it and it
shows. It was built in the Kansas City, Missouri plant. The paint
codes and interior trim codes are as they say. I'm sure it's had
one repaint in it's day, but they did a great job because it looks
like it just rolled off the showroom floor. The original 283 cu. in
V8 has been replaced with a 327 cu. in V8. The turboglide
transmission is still in the car. The original steering wheel was
replaced with and Flaming River with tilt wheel. The original radio
has been replaced with a Custom Auto Sound unit. The interior is
like new with no rips or tears. The body is solid and the panels
are laser straight. The chrome, glass and trim are in excellent
condition! The undercarriage is bone dry with no rust issues
whatsoever. All windows roll up and down with ease. The tires seem
fairly new as well. All gauges seems to be working correctly. The
horn currently isn't working unless it's on a separate switch that
I didn't see. This Belair runs and drives out very nicely. It is
definitely roadworthy and can be driven anywhere. Please Note The
