Vehicle Description
Cruisin Classics is pleased to present to you today this low-miles
1989 Chevrolet Corvette. This C4 comes to us today with only 42,238
actual miles and it's dressed in the highly desirable "red with
saddle-tan interior" color combo. We believe the Bright Red paint
is original to the car and it is still in very presentable driver
condition with a nice glossy shine. The front end of the car
features the Corvette's iconic pop-up headlights and side aero
vents. Black body side molding in excellent condition flows around
the car at knee height and breaks up all the red. Like all C4s,
this one comes with a targa top and in this instance, it matches
the body color. Adding to the red are color-keyed dual-side
mirrors. Around the back, you'll find a concave rear fascia with
round taillights, a frameless glass hatchback with rear defrost, a
power antenna, and dual exhaust with twin tips. This whole sporty
package gets down the road on 17" cast aluminum factory wheels
wrapped in BF Goodrich G-Force Sport tires.
The clam-shell hood lifts forward to reveal a tidy stock engine bay
that is home to a 5.7 liter 350ci V-8 with aluminum cylinder heads
and tuned port fuel injection. The V-8 is mated up to a 4-speed
automatic overdrive transmission that shifts smoothly. When this
car left the factory it was rated at 245hp and 340 lb/ft of torque
- plenty of power to make this 3200 lb. car a ton of fun out on the
road!
Open the driver's door and courtesy lights come on to reveal an
exceptionally well-kept original saddle tan interior. The driver's
door panel is in good condition with the only apparent wear being
on the interior door handle. The door features controls for power
locks and 3-speed wipers. Both of the power-adjustable leather
seats are in very good condition with only minimal wear and no
rips, tears, or stains. A center console divides the seats and
features a leather-wrapped shift knob for the automatic
transmission, ashtray with lighter, cupholder, and controls for the
power windows, mirrors, and seats. The armrest/storage box contains
a popper for the hatchback, a courtesy light, a Targa top tool, an
original owner's manual, and a factory cassette that explains all
aspects of the Delco/Bose AM/FM/Cassette stereo. Ahead of the
driver is a leather-wrapped steering wheel on a tilt/telescopic
column that also offers a stalk for the cruise controls. A
crack-free black dash sits above a digital dash that was pretty
cutting-edge for its time. On the dash, you'll find a tachometer
and speedometer as well as gauges for oil pressure temp, fuel,
volts, and coolant temp. There's also a trip computer that displays
distance, range, and fuel consumption data. The climate controls
are in the center of the dash and they pump out cold A/C and hot
heat with a strong fan on demand. The carpeted rear cargo area has
2 storage compartments, slots for targa top storage, a retractable
cargo cover screen, and a dealer brochure for the 89 C4. The tan
carpet throughout the car is in good condition and is kept nice up
front with carpeted floormats. The only demerit we found in the
interior is that the Targa top does not have a headliner.
If you're looking to add a C4 Corvette to your garage, this one
deserves a serious look. It's got a killer color combo, nice paint,
low miles, cold A/C, a great-looking interior, and working options!
The majority of C4s have been daily driven to death these days, but
this one has been saved and pampered just for you!
