The Ford Bronco, introduced in 1966, changed little over succeeding
years, a testament to its excellent design and popularity. This
handsome 1968 Ford Bronco represents the rich history of this very
sought-after off-road classic well. Tough, practical and simple,
this small, rugged, four-wheel-drive vehicle served a particular
purpose and did so exceedingly well. The Bronco's reputation took
off quickly and it soon became one of Jeep's biggest competitors. A
precursor to today's immensely popular sport utility vehicles, the
Bronco developed a loyal following, allowing it to remain in
production up until the 1977 model year. With classic styling, easy
access to parts, off-road versatility, and a rugged reputation,
these early Broncos are treasured by enthusiasts and collectors
more than ever.
The Harbor Blue exterior is contrasted by a white hardtop for a
delightful period-correct look while the interior features white
seats, door card inserts, and stock black steering wheel.
Additionally, an Alpine AM/FM cassette player has been installed.
The interior is stock in appearance and still retains its factory
rear seat. This classic Bronco is also equipped with a Warn
electric winch. White spoke steel wheels match the top, grill,
bumpers and wheel flares. The rims are fitted with beefy B.F.
Goodrich Mud-Terrain T/A 35x12.50 R15 LT white lettered tires.
Under the hood is stock in appearance and features a great running
289 V8 engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. Long tube
headers and dual exhaust help the engine breathe while a recently
added set of Rancho RS5000 shocks help ensure a good quality
ride.
