Vehicle Description
1972 International Scout II. I purchased it in 1975. The engine has
always ran well and the transmission has been rock solid too. It
was parked a couple of years ago running fine. Never been
professionally used or raced. Almost everything under the hood is
original except for regular tune-up parts. Original mileage is
94,425 actual miles on Odometer. Have the title. Never been on a
salted winter road. All the leaf springs have been professionally
mounted on top of the axles and shocks have been modified with
retail (not homemade) double-nitrogen gas shocks with mounts. The
drive shaft has been professionally lengthened to accommodate the
rise in clearance. Never had any problems at all with the
four-wheel drive system. Works perfectly. When running I never had
any issues with stalling or misfiring ever. No leak issues, either
oil or coolant. I had the clutch replaced about ten years ago.
Factory made Roll Bar with KC Daylighted lights mounted on top (
not sure if they work now though). Rubber mud guards are added to
wheel wells on fenders. Custom made front grille and bumper made of
heavy gauge steel. Inline straight 6-cylinder engine 4 Wheel Drive
All gauges working No electrical problems Transmission is in good
condition What it needs to run now. Tune up of the basic items:
Plugs, plug wires, distributor, points and rotor Needs a new set of
tires Probably could use a new master cylinder for the brakes and
possibly wheel calipers for the wheels. New battery. Clean title
