Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this stunning Factory 1980 Camaro Z28 which is in fantastic overall condition with only 41,982 actual miles. The factory owners manual and a few dealer documents come with the car. This fantastic Z28 features super nice factory brown paint with a mostly stock original interior, the numbers matching 350 engine, and the factory build sheet and several dealer brochures. This Z28 is very solid with excellent body lines and gaps and there is no rust anywhere around the car. The frame and under carriage is also very solid and honest with no rust or repaired areas. This Z28 was owned by one family for the last 25 years plus and was mostly used for car shows and cruise ins. This Z28 is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Brown exterior paint over tan vinyl interior. This is the factory color scheme as verified on the trim tag seen in the photos. Miles are shown as actual on the clean current Ohio title and show as actual on the past PA title. The factory build sheet was found in the rear seatback during detailing and there is another build sheet under the front passenger seat. Build sheet shows this as a factory Z28 with 3.42 rear gears with F41 sport suspension.
Exterior
The Brown exterior is in superb overall condition and shows very well in person and in photos/videos. This Z28 has excellent paint and shows very well and looks fresh. The paint quality is super nice with an excellent gloss and is smooth to the touch. The decals look new and are in excellent shape. The body is very solid and the gaps and lines are excellent. Both bumpers are in excellent shape with no flaking or faded paint and no spider webbing. There is zero rust on this car and no bubbling paint or cracked paint. There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but noting was intentionally excluded from the photos. The tires have good tread left and the Centerline aftermarket wheels are in great shape and look nice on the car. All weather stripping and window sweeps are in good condition. Trunk is very solid and clean with a space saver spare tire, original trunk mat, and jack and tools.
Interior
The tan vinyl interior of this Z28 is in terrific mostly stock condition. The seat covers are original and are in great overall condition especially for being vinyl and 44 years old. The carpet was recently replaced and is like new with no visible wear, rips, or holes. The original dash is in excellent overall condition and the dash bezel is in excellent condition as well. There are no cracks in the dash and no warping or fading. The stereo was upgraded to a digital cassette AM/FM stereo and looks great and sounds good. The original door panels are in great condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The headliner was recently replaced and is like new with no stains and is not sagging at all. The package tray is in great condition with newer speakers and grills. All interior lights and gauges work as they should outside of the clock which is common for not working. The stereo, wipers, and horn all work. The tilt wheel works as it should. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever. The AC and heat are not working, the AC has been removed under the hood.
Mechanical
This Z28 is in great mechanical condition and still retains its original 350 engine in restored condition. Engine was removed from the car and refreshed with upgraded cam shaft and roller rockers and head work. See photos in gallery with engine removed. Engine was fully detailed and re installed with new motor mounts. A new radiator was installed and a new fuel pump. A new starter was installed and new rear shocks. All new brakes were installed recently from front to rear with all new brake lines and hoses and pads and cylinders and calipers. Master cylinder and brake booster were also installed. New drums and rotors installed too. A new radiator was added. We have driven this Z28 numerous times on the streets and highways and it always performs very well, does not run hot, rides tight, and is a true joy to drive. In the video one can observe this car running and driving with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles and performs well. This Z28 is a great driver that feels good on the road and at highway speeds. It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs great. The brakes do not pull and stop as they should. Flowmaster mufflers and headers were added which gives this Z28 an excellent rumble at idle and cruising speeds. A new alternator was recently added. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. The engine was removed to fully detail the engine bay and several chrome pieces were installed to look good at shows. This Z28 has been loved and meticulously cared for by its previous owners and has been used mostly for car shows. The outstanding way this Z28 looks and drives is a true testament to prior owners care and love for this special car.
