Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/Austin is proud to present this
1968 Ford Mustang. This Pony is rocking a new vibrant blue paint
job that has been recently detailed and ceramic coated, and a
jet-black interior, so it's a real eye catcher. The potent 289CID
V-8 in the engine bay has been bored .030 over and upgraded with a
Holley Sniper EFI system atop its aluminum intake, and an aluminum
radiator with dual electric fans. JBA shorty headers funnel exhaust
into its Pypes true dual exhaust, which provides that classic
muscle car sound. Backing the 289 is a T-5 manual transmission,
which sends the power to the Ford 9-inch rear end with 3.55 gears.
Front disc brakes have been added, which helps slow this peppy
Mustang down better than its original 4-drum setup. This slick
looking Mustang is riding on 17" REV 100 Classic Series wheels with
a gray barrel and polished chrome lip wrapped with low profile
performance radials, which further ride and driver control. Inside,
the first thing you'll notice is the high back vinyl buckets with
black pleated knit horizontal inserts joined by a color-coordinated
headliner and door panels. You will also appreciate the addition of
the cold blowing air conditioning, new 110amp alternator, new
retro-style head unit and its Pioneer speakers. Other recent
updates include new halo headlights, LED taillights, and a Ravelco
anti-theft system. Don't miss out on turning heads at the next car
meet with this Pony car classic!
