Dale Earnhardt is probably one of the most recognizable names in
motorsport history. Earnhardt's very successful racing career
spanned from 1975 until 2001 and is widely regarded as one of the
best Nascar drivers of all time. With this kind of success behind
the wheel, it is no surprise that Chevrolet wanted to commemorate
Earnhardt's career with a number of special edition Chevrolets
throughout the years. This 1998 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Z34 Dale
Earnhardt edition is one of these very special cars. This Monte
Carlo is #4 of the 25 Dale Earnhardt Edition's built for the 1998
production year and is in excellent condition with just 6,200
actual miles. This special Monte Carlo was sold new at Dale
Earnhardt Chevrolet in Newton, North Carolina to a personal friend
of Earnhardt's. The original owner told Earnhardt that if he won
the 1998 Daytona 500, she would buy one of his limited production
Monte Carlo's. At the time of sale, Earnhardt signed the passenger
side dash of the Monte Carlo and took a picture with the original
owners at the dealership. The gloss black exterior of this rare
Monte Carlo is in excellent condition and is complimented nicely by
its exclusive GM Goodwrench Service Plus livery, unique bowtie
shaped exhaust tips and original Dale Earnhardt edition American
Racing wheels wrapped in new Goodyear Eagle tires. The original
Graphite leather interior is in excellent condition and features
some unique touches including Dale Earnhardt's signature
embroidered in the headrests and Dale Earnhardt's hand signature on
the glovebox. Powering this great Monte Carlo is its 200HP Series
II 3800 3.8 liter V6 backed by its 4-speed automatic transmission.
Both the engine and transmission perform just as they should. This
Monte Carlo is very well equipped with factory options such as:
power steering, power 4-wheel disc brakes, dual climate air
conditioning, heater/defrost, rear defrost, power windows, power
door locks, keyless entry, tilt steering, in-dash tachometer, power
