1955 Chevrolet 2 door hard top. Painted in a Dusk Rose and India Ivory 2 tone finish. Original 265 power pack V-8 with dual exhaust and the original 2 speed power glide transmission. Power front disc brakes with rear drums. Vintage air system for summer cruising. Interior was installed at the time of restoration. Runs very smooth and would be a great cruiser. Has optional chrome rocker panel trim and the optional front bumper bar as well. A rust free body with original rust free floors and trunk as well as a firewall that has been cleaned up to create a great under hood presentation.
Car was restored in 2003 and painted an original 55 color combination of Dusk Rose and India Ivory. A Cassette tape stereo system was also installed at that time as was the Vintage Air system and the upgraded brakes. Car originally had the 1955 Chevrolet power assist steering system that was removed to facilitate the power brake booster. The car today does not have a power steering system but could easily be adapted if desired. Original style Bel Air correct hub caps are in place on black steel wheels with thin white white wall tires. Also has an electric fan to facilitate cooling in addition to the original belt driven fan on the motor. This fan is to insure cooling on a hot day with the Vintage Air controlling interior comfort.
