Vehicle Description
Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 25th year in the
classic and muscle car business. Ford's Model A, produced from 1927
to 1931, replaced the legendary Model T and was the first Ford with
conventionally located driver controls. Also, the A boasted 40
different types of steel alloys (!), liberal use of ball and roller
bearings, an electrically welded all-steel body, and an enduring
finish. These and other advancements, combined with great styling
and the huge numbers produced, cemented the A's iconic status in
American car culture. Our beautiful 1929 Model A Standard Fordor is
a desirable Murray-bodied jewel that was born during the Jazz Age.
Beneath the classic side-hinged hood is the original (SN&EN
A2518057) bullet-proof 200.5 ci I4 engine, chugging along steadily
at 95 years young! Additional features include a 3-speed manual
transmission, 12-volt conversion, rear mounted spare wheel, classic
tilt out windshield, lustrous two-tone Seal Brown and Black paint,
and 4.5-21 tires wrapped around spoke wheels. This charmer runs and
drives as it should, which is remarkable considering that the
original engine (A2518057) is 95 years old! A fine example of an
historically important automobile that's an absolute pleasure to
drive. Pinstripe suit and Tommy gun not included. Street Dreams
