This show stopping 1970 Ford Bronco Custom is the ultimate classic SUV with its striking looks and modern features. As the original VIN number tag indicates it was originally built in November at the Michigan assembly plant with a V8 engine. It was shipped to the Phoenix, AZ district. This Bronco was the product of a no-expense spared restoration which is evident in the build quality and parts utilized. The vison of the build was to create a masterpiece with all the modern conveniences of a new vehicle. Since completion it's been enjoyed a total of 2,782 miles.
From the information provided it retains all its original sheet metal throughout. The body is extremely straight with excellent gap lines. The fenders were modified and outfitted with bolt on black fender flares. It was refinished in the gorgeous the color of Matte Gray which has a touch of metallic. The paint was recently detailed to a beautiful shine. It's equipped with a removable hard top and doors. The hard top was recently refinished in Matte black to match all the exterior trim including the Bronco fender emblems. Some of the custom exterior features include ICON brushed mirrors, ICON front black grille with red Ford letters, Speaker LED headlights, front metal black bumper with LED lights and Warn winch, ICON marker lights, ICON brushed door handles, electric side steps, fuel filler cap, ICON tailgate insert, ICON taillight bezels, LED taillights, rear metal black bumper with receiver and ICON swing-out rear carrier. The spare wheel sits behind the license plate light, rear camera and Extreme LED light bar. It has a prefect stance on black 18” Method Racing Wheels that are mounted with 35x12.5 BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A tires.
The luxurious interior is breathtaking with the design and craftsmanship. It has removable rubber plugs for drainage. The roll cage was wrapped with Alcantera suede which is soft to the touch. The multi-adjustable Learjet black aluminum brackets hold polarized dark tinted sun visors. The dash pad was wrapped in black leather with white stitching. The dash fascia and door panels were refinished beautiful black/bronze finish. The dash houses the Dakota Digital gauges with red accents, custom-machined knobs, LED adjustable lights, air and heat controls and aluminum black vents. It's equipped with a tilt steering column, custom-machined steering wheel with black leather and white stitching wrap. The functioning glove box provides access to the fusebox. The two custom bucket seats were upholstered in black leather with white stitching and Alcantata suede inserts. The driver and passenger seats are both power operated including the reclining feature and have seat belts. The removable rear seat was upholstered to match the front and also has seat belts. It has an ICON steel center console that sits between the two front seats. The console houses a leather arm pad, locking storage compartment, Alpine INE-592OHD head unit, heated seat controls, USB port, 12-V power port and rear cup holders. Some of the other custom interior features include ICON MIL Spec wiring harness, power windows, billet pedals, submersible high beam floor switch, 3 locking differential switches, JL Audio speakers and Alcantera suede covered headliner on the hardtop.
The engine compartment is highly detailed throughout with many new parts. The underside of the hood was refinished in Matte Gray and held with two ABco hood gas struts. The firewall was refinished in Matte black textured paint. The inner fenders and radiator was refinished in Matte Gray. It's equipped with a Ford factory engine harness. The main wiring is covered by a painted removable cover. The Bronco is powered by a Gen 1 Coyote crate engine that is factory rated with 420hp. The engine intake and valve covers were dipped in carbon fiber which looks amazing. Some engine compartment custom features include a K&N air filter, Edelbrock fuel pressure regulator, Marshall fuel pressure gauge, Brembo hydro boost master cylinder, aluminum radiator and power cutoff knob for battery. It's equipped with a PSC power steering reservoir. The engine breathes through ceramic coated exhaust system with Magnaflow muffler that sounds awesome. The engine is coupled to a new 4R70W 4-speed automatic transmission that shifts smoothly. The power is transferred through a General driveshaft with 1310 joints and a custom built Dynatrac Dana 60/44 based solid axle with 4.09 gears. It's equipped with a purpose Atlas II transfer case with optional ARB front and rear locking differentials with air compressor.
The undercarriage is highly detailed throughout with many new parts. It was refinished in black textured paint for durability. The fuel is supplied from a 21 gallon black powder-coated steel tank with enclosed fuel pump. The fuel tank does have a few small dents on it. The suspension system consists of AFE Sway-A-Way coilovers with reservoirs and Eibach springs.
