For Sale: 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air in Goodrich, Michigan

Vehicle Description

This is a "COOL" 55 Chevrolet Bel Air post done in a "Slick" Artic White, basecoat clearcoat, has had a frame off restoration build, at time of build had all new smoke tinted glass; including windshield, new weather stripping and window felts; as well as front and rear window rubbers, original window stainless has been re-polished in excellent condition, original Bel Air upper door trim has also been re-polished in excellent condition, new door handles, new side view mirrors, original hood jet in very good condition, new hood emblem, original grill and grill moldings in excellent condition, new parking light housings and lens, new front bumper, bumper guards have also been replaced, new Bel Air emblems, original Bel Air side moldings have been polished in exceptional condition, accessory gas door guard, new taillight bezels, taillight lens with blue dots, new deck lid emblem, new rear bumper and bumper guards.

Very nice custom gray interior, new up to date wiring throughout, dash has been refinished, new dash trim, nicely updated with Classic Instrumentation with full gauges and tach, retro-fit AM/FM stereo with IPOD capability, updated with IDIDIT tilt steering column, also updated with LoKar accelerator pedal; as well as break and clutch pedal, working clock, new headliner and visors, all garnish trim has been finished to match, custom done front and rear door panels with factory Bel Air trim, power front windows; rear are manual, nicely outfitted with a pair of reclining bucket seats, back seat has also been redone to match, center console with cupholders and storage compartment, new carpet with custom floor mats, new sill plates.

Under the hood we have a GM performance aluminum headed 383 crate motor, GM performance aluminum heads, Edelbrock AirGap aluminum intake, Holley dual feed carb with electric choke, updated with electronic ignition, aluminum valve covers and chrome breather, March serpentine pulley kit, 100 amp 1 wire alternator, nicely updated with power steering, heavy duty aluminum radiator with thermostatic controlled electric fan and billet recovery tank, front suspension has been nicely updated with tubular upper and lower control arms, fully adjustable coil overs up front, power disc brakes, this strong running 383 is backed up with a Muncie 4 speed trans, set of long tube headers into 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust out the back, posi rear with 323 gear, new springs and shocks, custom aluminum fuel tank.

Rides on a set of American Racing Torq Thrust wheels 17x7 up front with 245/45 and 17x9 out back with 275/40 Nitto's all around.

This "Cool" 55 is ready to cruise and enjoy.
