1955 Chevrolet ice cream truck
This truck once serviced the 5 boroughs of New York.
After competing and finally being absorbed by the good humor ice cream company, most of these trucks either vanished or were destroyed.
This truck survived and has been sitting in an ice cream parlor for many years. It is still largely original and still runs quite well.
It is still powered by its original inline 6 cylinder and 3 speed manual transmission. It still moves around on its own power however a tune up and some minor TLC are in order to put it back out for service.
The refrigeration unit was evacuated from chemicals and will likely need to be recharged or replaced with a more efficient style unit. The freezer unit is in great shape and will work fine.
