1989 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z. This sports car has a magnificent black/ red color combination that is in absolutely "head-turning" condition. I've had numerous people pass me on the highway, and give me a thumbs up sign. The car has 74,450 miles on the odometer, and definitely in excellent condition. I had the aluminum wheels totally refinished (painted & polished), and they look literally brand new, bringing them back to original stock condition. They are eye-catching with an after market red center circle. The 5.7 liter V-8 engine with tune port injection is highly sought after, and runs perfectly. I also added some improved air flow channels/ tubes which feed into the K & N air filters. This improvement has really helped with the acceleration and horse power. I contacted Hagerty Insurance/ valuation, and they told me the minimum insurance value of the automobile is $24,000. The amenities include the typical things like A/C, tilt steering wheel, electronic adjustable side mirrors and electric windows. There is a problem with the rear hatch motor....it does not work. I bought the replacement motor, but I'm not an electrician, so I could not successfully install the new electric motor.. The interior is in very good condition except the driver's side seat had a small tear, which I repaired with thread/ sewing. I purchased some brand new floor mats even though the original carpet is in good shape. I have kept the car in the garage the entire time that I have owned the car for the past seven years, and never drove it in rain or snow. The reason that I am selling the car is I just filed for my social security pension, and will be on a fixed income. I really do love this car, but its time to pass it on to someone who appreciates its style and shape. I think my fondness for the car is obvious and please take a look at my IROC shrine/ shelf with all the "extras" that I have on display. All these must be included with the purchase. Oh yea, clean car fax and title.
