1963 MG 1100 ADO16

Selling my rare 1963 MG 1100 ADO16. I looked for this rare 2-door MG 1100 for many years and when this California car became available in 2021 I immediately bought it with plans to restore and possibly do a Honda VTEC conversion. Life has made other plans and now regrettably I need to pass it along to a new enthusiast.
The original 1100cc motor has a cracked block and will need to be replaced. All parts are present and I have found several motors available over the last year online.
The exterior is in decent overall condition. I polished the car to help reveal any issues and overall it's in pretty good shape. There is a little surface rust at the lower rear area and a few dings that should be easy enough to rectify. The floors, boot, and inner rockers are solid. Though the trim has mostly been removed, all of it is present - some in decent condition with other pieces that may need to be re-chromed or replaced. I recently replaced all four tires to make moving the car around easier since the tires that were on it were bad and a couple of them didn't hold air. The car still has its blue and gold California license plates that would have been issued in the 1970s.
The interior is partially original, ie rear seat, door cards, panels, and parcel shelf and the front seats while not original are proportionately a good and comfortable alternative once recovered.
I bought this because it seemed ideal for restoring and still believe this to be the case. And the 2-door versions are nearly impossible to find, especially in the MG ADO16 model.
