This 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer was acquired by the seller in October of 2023 and was fitted with a replacement 383ci stroker V8. Additional work carried out under previous ownership included installing a 4″ suspension lift kit, adding a Hydroboost brake system and Eaton Positraction rear differential, replacing the gear sets, and reupholstering the seats in black microsuede with houndstooth cloth inserts.


The truck is finished in blue and equipped with a three-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, a black removable hardtop, 15″ steel wheels, 35″ Toyo mud-terrain tires, front disc brakes, power steering, a rear bench seat, a center console, and a Pioneer stereo receiver. Work completed since 2022 consisted of repairing the wiring and replacing the batteries, body mounts, starter, carpets, and interior panels. With receipts totaling over $15,000


Finished from the factory in Medium Blue, the truck was repainted under prior ownership and features a removable black hardtop, CST and 350 badging, and a dual exhaust system with outlets behind each rear wheel. he 15″ steel wheels wear bright trim rings and 35×13.5″ Toyo Open Country mud-terrain tires. A 4″ suspension lift kit was added in 2005, and the truck is equipped with manually locking front hubs as well as power steering. The front disc brakes and rear drums were fitted with a Hydroboost system in 2006, along with a replacement master cylinder and larger-diameter rear brake drums.
The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 100-mph speedometer, a central tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, voltage, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 31k miles, approximately 26k of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 383ci stroker V8 is equipped with a four-barrel carburetor, tubular headers, and a chrome air cleaner cover. Work in July 2022 included installing replacement Optima batteries, repairing the wiring, and replacing the starter.


Upon purchasing the vehicle in October of 2023 my client sent the vehicle to Hot Rods and Custom in Escondido, CA for a 200 point inspection. The report is available and items were found to be in Good overall condition, some areas of concern include Interior items, Trim lights, Exhaust, Tune Up, Steering Box, Trans Seal, wiring replacement, exhaust and some leaks to various components, as the perfection our Collector Client is he had all this addressed and has records/ receipts for over $8,500 in repairs to not only fix and address the items noted but to also cover small incidental items and prevent further ware and tear, with over $9,500.00 Invested in recent repair and upgrades you can assure this vehicle is in prime condition to be enjoyed and used as a fun and exciting reliable 4x4 Adventurer.
