For Sale: 1956 Plymouth Fury in Desert Aire, Washington

Vehicle Description

The first year for the Fury model and the first "muscle" car for Plymouth. Likely, less than 250 remain. 303 cu. in., 270 HP Power Pack motor with chrome package, dual quads and solid lifter cam. Very rare, factory only, aluminum intake manifold. Also, very rare 3 speed manual transmission with overdrive. New "A" body rear housing with an 8 3/4" Sure Grip Posi with 4:10 gears. New 4 wheel power disc brakes behind New Mopar Wire Wheels with new Goodrich Silvertown Red Line Radials, 225/70/15. Spare tire well has been enlarged for the larger than stock tires. Car was entirely stripped to bare metal on the exterior then coated with epoxy primer and two stage Black and Clear Urethane.  Car has new E Brake lining, new complete wiring harness, new LED Digital gauges and a new 75 amp one wire alternator. Working heater and dealer installed, period correct Mark IV AC with R134. Original search feature radio has been modified to AM/FM.  First place show trophy goes with. I have all original parts plus extras. receipts, production info and owner history.  Motor was rebuilt approximately 4K miles ago by Bill Boggs, a radio and TV celebrity from Philadelphia who owned the car for 20 years.
