Vehicle Description

This 1950 Jaguar XK120 replica is an absolute stunner! Built by Eagle Coach Work Inc. of Buffalo N.Y. - first registered in 1996, only two owners since then. These cars rarely come up for sale. A Ford Mustang II was the donor car, Body is 4 inches wider than the original XK 120 car in order to accommodate the wider suspension and rear axle, car weighs almost 3,000 pounds, that makes it a pretty big replica, not an average kit car! Powerful 289 cu in - V8 Ford show engine, Rebuilt in 2012 with a new engine block, .030 bored and Holley Projection Throttle Body Fuel Injection, TCI - C4 Sizzler Automatic Transmission, a simple three-speed anyone could rebuild in a home garage, if ever needed, with common hand tools. Lokar Shifter, TCI - Street fighter torque converter and 8" rear, Weiand Stealth intake Manifold, Crane-Max Velocity Cam, Magnum Roller Rockers, dual exhaust, Monroe front shocks and Koni rear shocks, all these things are telling you that this antique Jaguar Tribute is a blast to drive. Fast and dependable vintage replica!!! 95 Amp Ford alternator, Griffin Radiator with Permacool Fan, with manual toggle switch, VDO Vintage Gauges and a beautiful wood dash, Vintage steering wheel with Jaguar Logo horn button, Jaguar hood emblem on the front grille, and on all 4 hubcaps, has full bumpers, 7 classic white face gauges, side wind deflectors, rear chrome luggage rack, Vintage-look Bluetooth stereo and Harada Power Antenna. Car comes with a ton of Documentation and Literature, also, side curtains. 3 rear view mirrors, seat belts, beautiful wood dash, & shifter looks like a stick shift manual, but its automatic. Hidden door solenoids allow access and keep the vehicle secure, when the top and windows are installed.

The XK120 was a car that was ahead of its time in terms of design and technology, and it still turns heads today. Its timeless look and classic lines make it just as beautiful and desirable as it was when it was first introduced.

For car enthusiasts and collectors, the 1950 Jaguar XK120 Roadster is a true treasure. It is a car that represents the pinnacle of automotive engineering, and it is a symbol of an era when cars were more than just transportation, they were works of art.

Everything on the car works. I’ve upgraded her with period correct Lucas headlamps, with the added benefit of LEDs. Optima yellow battery. Tires are in great shape, with plenty of tread. Brakes are in good condition as well. The top is in excellent condition and is easily removed, as are the windows.

At  6’1”, 205, it’s a bit of a squeeze to get in and out, but plenty comfortable for all day driving, once behind the wheel, even with the top on. I drive this car often and have never had any major issues.

Yes it’s a replica, and a very reliable one. I encourage anyone to research authentic XK120s and the price they command for even a non-running barn find. Then consider what happens when they break down. If you can’t wrench on them yourself, good luck finding someone that can, at a reasonable price. Vintage original Jaguars are notoriously difficult to find parts for, so factor that in too.
All of these things are alleviated by the Ford drive train in this one. Parts are easily accessible to keep this car running forever.

If you love the look and feel of an early 50s XK120, but hate the price of a numbers matching one, this is the one for you. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
