here is a well-built custom Chevrolet Camaro that has been
constructed using the state-of-the-art aftermarket pieces as it was
assembled. A complete record and collection of the receipts
supporting the parts utilized in this project are included with the
sale along with a clean CARFAX. This 1984 Chevrolet Camaro Z28
featured here was built from the frame up and the suspension has
been completely updated to a fully adjustable coil-over suspension
using QA-1 Parts. Upfront is a set of tubular A-arms with coil-over
shocks with reinforced upper shock mounts for enhanced caster and
camber for more aggressive front-end alignment settings and an HD
stabilizer bar controls body roll. A Borgeson quick ratio power
steering unit provides outstanding road feel and a quicker turning
radius. Outback an HD QA1 upper and lower control arms utilizing a
QA-1 adjustment/mounting kit and adjustable Panhard bar with
oversized stabilizer bar as well as coil-over shocks complete with
appropriate relocation kit keep the differential firmly planted on
the pavement. Inside the differential has been upgraded with an
Eaton E-Locker and 3.73:1 gear set, Mosher HD axle set, and the
assembly was installed using a Mosher shim kit, axle bearings, and
hardened wheel studs. A complete Wilwood brake power brake system
with drilled and slotted rotors brings the braking on this F-Body
to a whole new level. The brake lines are all new and custom fit to
the upgraded system. Custom-built MRR Wheels wrapped in low-profile
speed-rated tires ensure the suspension does the job it was
designed to. The drivetrain of this road warrior is a 350cid 4-bolt
main small block Chevrolet V8 that has been bored and stroked to
383cid. The block is topped with aluminum cylinder heads, an
Edelbrock Intake, and FiTech Fuel Injection. The fuel injection is
fed from an intake electric fuel pump through custom bent fuel
lines. This combination produced 420hp with 485tqe when tested on
the dyno. The spent fuel is passed through a set of Hedman
aluminized headers, into a custom bent dual exhaust that features a
hand-fabricated X-pipe that rumbles through a set of high-flowing
performance mufflers. Power is transferred back to the differential
through a GM Turbo-Hydramatic 3-speed transmission outfitted with a
2600 rpm stall convertor. Under the hood, the engine compartment is
clean and nearly show-ready featuring an aluminum-finned air
cleaner and Chevrolet Performance valve covers. The fan belts and
pulleys have been updated to a serpentine belt system with
underdrive billet pulleys. An aluminum radiator with dual cooling
fans keeps this hot setup cool. This build was based on a very
solid rust-free body as exhibited in the photos of the underbody.
The body features a custom two-tone black and tan paint job that
really sets this Camaro apart from other 3rd-generation Camaros. A
fiberglass cowl induction hood is a nice styling cue that calls out
the Camaro heritage to the 1st generation cars when the cowl hood
was first introduced. Equipped with T-tops this car is a lot of fun
to drive with the sun on your face and the wind in your hair!
Inside the cockpit of this Camaro is full of custom touches. The
seat upholstery and door panels are custom-stitched upholstery to
match the special paint treatment on the exterior. The carpet is
