1954 MG TF underwent a refurbishment in 1995 that involved
rebuilding the 1,250cc inline-four along with stripping and
refinishing the body in its original color of red. Features include
a four-speed manual transmission, beige leather upholstery, 15?
wire-spoke wheels, a black soft top, a fold-down windshield, chrome
bumpers with over riders, dual side mirrors, rear-hinged doors, a
rear-mounted spare a luggage rack, protected by a cover, newer dual
SU carburetors, Jaeger instrumentation. This TF is now offered by
the seller with service records, a workshop manual, and a clean
South Carolina title. The car was refinished in its current shade
of red by The English Connection in Schuylkill, PA. The frame-off
restoration took 8 years. Complete documentation with written
comments and pictures is included. Exterior details include a Black
soft top, a fold-down windshield, chrome bumpers with overriders,
bright trim, TF-1500 badging, dual side mirrors, side louvers,
running boards, rear-hinged doors, and a luggage rack. The paint on
the left rear fender has minor paint issues. Chrome-finished 15?
wire-spoke wheels feature two-eared knock-off spinners and are
wrapped in Firestone wide white-wall tires. A matching full-size
spare is affixed to the rear of the car and is protected by a full
vinyl cover. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel drum brakes.
The seating surfaces are upholstered in soft red leather that
extends to the dashboard pad, parking brake boot, rear storage
compartment, and door panels. MG-branded floor mats line the
footwells, and additional interior details include storage
compartment, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, a passenger grab-bar,
door map pockets and an aftermarket Moss Motors cabin heater. The
speedometer was sent our for calibration in 2023 and the clock was
repaired at that time An original three spoke steering wheel fronts
centrally-mounted Jaeger instrumentation consisting of a 105-mph
speedometer with an inset clock, a tachometer.
