This Chevrolet 6400 series flatbed combines excellent originality with partial, professional restoration. It looks great, is very reliable and can be used on demand, that was always my intended purpose in addition years of successful use as a valuable marketing tool for my business.
The truck presents itself very well, runs and drives well, and is very useable work truck, but also great for events and usually draws attention when driven or in the nursery parking lot. Four speed manual transmission and heavy rear end with hitch and controls to pull trailers. The truck top speed is about 60 MPH but will pull a freight train. I have had an 8,000lb load behind it with ease. All mechanical work has been performed by a master mechanic from Dinos Auto Repair and all records are available.

Brakes – Completely rebuilt with new master cylinder and individual cylinders for rear wheels.
Colling System – New four core aluminum radiator with plumbing to increase cooling capacity during hot summer weather.
Fuel – Single barrel carburetor has been completely rebuilt and fuel lines have been repositioned to prevent vapor lock during hot weather.
Engine – 235 Straight 6 and just a work horse.
Exhaust – New machined manifold and exhaust.
Chrome – Lots of custom chrome under the hood, valve cover, alternator, starter and beyond.
Wipers – Replaced vacuum wipers with new electrical function and chromed wiper blades.
Gauges – New modern electronic instruments but still has the retro look.
Interior – New head liner and door panels.
Paint – Hood and cab was recently repainted in 2023.
