BEAUTIFUL BARN FIND, NEW PAINT, 292 V8, FIRES RIGHT UP AND RUNS STRONG! This truck is an amazing find. She was recently pulled out of the barn and painted but the previous owner couldn’t finish the restoration. COSMETIC
- Paint/Body: The body lines on this baby are awesome. She has a driver paint job, a good 20 footer we like to say. Some pops and dings consistently around once you get up close on it. She has new door handles and chrome emblems. Solid interior floor pans and door panels. The step sides have been replaced and are in good shape. Cab corners have a few pops but are still pretty clean. Overall a beauty for being a recent barn find!
- Interior: She has a brand new seat cover and rubber floor mat. Door panels and dash are painted to match the exterior and look sharp. Nice looking cab!
- Glass/Windows: The windows roll up and down. The passenger side and rear window are cracked but he windshield and driver window are solid.
- Trunk/Bed: Wood panel bed is in good shape with older metal slats. Only surface rust to be found underneath. Looks nice!
- Undercarriage: Inner fender wells are clean. Some minimal rust on the bottom of the doors. No rust on the frame. She has solid floor pans and inner fender wells have very minimal spots. The battery box is rusted but still holds the battery fine. The cab corner has a small spot that could be easily patched but clean otherwise. Overall a very original survivor undercarriage.
- Wheels/Tires: Older tires, need to be replaced after sitting in the barn. She still have the original style wheels and hubcaps.
MECHANICAL
- Drivetrain: She has a 292 Y block V8. Manual transmission shifts through all gears smoothly. Cranks right up and drives strong down the road. Perfect truck to drive as is or to do a fun restoration project on.
- Lights/Electrical: Headlights, taillights and brake lights are all functional. Wipers are also working. No radio or horn.
- Brakes: Brakes stop straight and strong. She could use a tune up simply because it hasn't been driven much since being pulled out of the barn.
